Great, great house!

The Aloha House is a great family or small group getaway home. We've rented a number of homes around the country for week-long vacations and the Aloha House is in the top two. We are a family of six, with four kids (an 18 year old girl, a 16 year old boy, a 14 year old boy and an 11 year old girl). The main room consists of a kitchen, dining area and living space, a layout that is open, comfortable, functional and relaxing. There was always enough room for us to move around and still find private space from time-to-time. Off the main room are three bedrooms, each with a large bed and full bath. There is a large master suite above the garage and separate from the rest of the dwelling. The privacy is great. There's also wet bar in the master and there is a balcony on two sides of the room. Nearby the house is a small shopping center with a grocery store and a number of other shopping and dining options. Within the Princeville complex there are additional restaurant options and a nice bar area at the St. Regis (which seems to draw a crowd every evening to watch the sunset). There are more eating options Hanalei Bay and at Kapaa. The beach is a short walk in the neighborhood and through the Hanalei Bay Resort. The beach is shared between the Resort and the St. Regis. There are a number of bikes, wake boards, floaties, and sets of snorkel gear available at the house. We used the house as a base of vacation operations. We were out every day traveling to the various parts of the island. It was a great place to come home to after a day of hiking, relaxing on the beach, zip-lining, snorkeling or otherwise fooling around. The homeowner Tracy was easy to work with and very helpful with recommendations - she spends several weeks a year at the house and knows the area well. I highly recommend this home!- Brian B. Great place to stay with a family!

We just got back from staying at this house for 9 nights. It was really great! Lots of space, loved the full bath in each bedroom, house had everything we needed for cooking all our meals - Kuerig, crock pot, electric griddle, blender, rice maker, lots of pots and pans, etc. Garage was full of snorkling equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas, life jackets, etc. It was a really quiet neighborhood. We felt like we had so much privacy here. The owner Tracy was great to work with. My family would like to come back to Kauai in three years and we plan to stay at this same home. It really met all our needs. And if there are grandchildren next time we are here, the house was well equipped with a crib, stroller, etc. I will recommend this house to all my friends.- Sharri D. Incredible sunsets!

What a wonderful family experience at this great house! Everything you could possibly need was here. The privacy with each bedroom being a suite was wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need, loads of towels and beach towels, a great barbecue ,loads of DVD's And the most incredible sunsets especially from the top lanai and wonderful views of the lush green mountains and waterfalls! Tracy the owner was such an incredible wealth of information and many of our wonderful experiences were tied directly to her recommendations. Queens beach, Tunnels beach (snorkeling). Ziplining and more. Thank you Tracy for always being eager to answer all my questions for the entire year between our reservation and arrival! You went over and beyond to ensure our wonderful stay. This house felt like a home not a vacation rental and it is equipped for all ages.. We would definitely stay here again. - Y.C. Bunch Stayed: July 2015 Submitted: September 14, 2015
